Heads up. I’m slowing down.
Most bike helmet lights are an afterthought, something you clip on, forget to charge or leave at home. We built ours directly into the helmet. Motion-sensing technology that signals traffic when you brake. Always there, always ready.
Easy to use
One short press on the rear lens powers it on. Not sure if it's active mid-ride? A quick tap confirms it without interrupting your ride. To turn it off, press and hold the rear lens for at least 2 seconds until the light goes out.
Charging
Charges via USB-C in under an hour and good for 9 to 10 hours of use, more than enough for any ride. The charging port sits on the inside of the helmet, so you never have to remove the light. Just plug in, charge up and go.
Frequently asked questions
A motion sensor inside the helmet detects when you slow down and automatically triggers the brake light. No buttons mid-ride, no apps, no forgetting. It just works.
Yes. The light is bright enough to cut through daylight and city traffic, not just useful at night.
Up to 9 to 10 hours on a single charge. More than enough for a full day of riding.
Via USB-C, the same cable you use for your phone or most other small electronics. We don't include one in the box because chances are you already have one lying around. No need to add to the pile. The charging port sits inside the helmet so you never have to remove the light.
Yes. Rain, mist or fog, the light keeps working whatever the weather.
First off, don't worry, the light module is replaceable so you won't need a whole new helmet. If it stops responding or won't charge, check that the USB-C port is clean and the cable is properly connected. Still not working? Reach out to us at hello@headfirsthelmets.com and we'll sort it.
No. The light is a mandatory part of the Echo Pro. Riding without it installed may compromise the helmet's safety and could mean it no longer meets applicable regulations. If it needs replacing, contact us first.
