Crash Replacement Program

If your helmet took a hit, it did its job. Now it's our turn.

After a serious crash, check your helmet before you ride again. Look for cracks or damage to the outer shell, if it's broken or visibly compromised, it needs to be replaced. Not sure? Send us a photo and we'll tell you straight.

How it works

You get 40% off a replacement helmet. Send us three things:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • A photo of the damaged helmet
  • A short description of what happened

Submit your request to hello@headfirsthelmets.com and we'll get back to you with a personal discount code.

Conditions

  • The helmet must have been damaged in a cycling accident
  • The request must be made within 3 years of your original purchase
  • Only applies to headfirst helmets bought through us or an authorised retailer
  • One replacement per claim

Questions about the crash replacement program

What is the Crash Replacement Program?

If your helmet took a hit, it did its job. Now it's our turn. If your headfirst helmet was involved in a crash, you get 40% off a replacement so you can get back on the road protected.

Who is eligible?

You're eligible if:

  • Your headfirst helmet was damaged in a cycling accident
  • It was purchased within the last 3 years
  • You have a proof of purchase or order number
What do I need to submit a request?

Send us three things at hello@headfirsthelmets.com:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • A photo of the damaged helmet
  • A short description of what happened
How much discount do I get?

40% off a replacement helmet on our website. We'll send you a personal discount code once your request is approved.

How long does it take?

We typically review requests within 48 hours. Once approved, your discount code arrives by email.

Can I choose a different colour or model?

Yes. Your replacement discount can be used for any headfirst helmet available on our website, so you are free to choose a different colour or model.

Can I use it more than once?

The Crash Replacement Program is limited to one replacement per helmet purchased.

What if I bought my helmet from a retailer?

No problem. The program applies to helmets bought through authorised retailers too — just include your proof of purchase.

When should I replace my helmet after a crash?

Our helmets are built for multiple impacts. But if you spot cracks or damage to the outer shell, replace it. Not sure? Send us a photo and we'll give you an honest answer.
