Born in Amsterdam—where cycling is practically in our DNA—we know a thing or two about modern riders.

We founded headfirst® after experiencing the same frustration every cyclist faces: helmets that looked terrible, fit poorly, and hadn't evolved in decades.

Working with APE Design Studio, we set out to solve this problem from the ground up.

After countless prototypes, rigorous testing, and a revolutionary patented fit system later, headfirst was born—creating helmets that protect and turn heads.

Because you shouldn't have to choose between looking good and staying safe.

Founded by Daan Zoetmulder, who combines his strategic marketing background with a lifelong passion for cycling, our team works in close partnership with Studio APE—four senior industrial designers trained at TU Delft.

Together, we've created a helmet that solves real problems through smart, thoughtful design.
