vacancy

Social Media & Content Intern

About the role

At headfirst we make helmets people actually want to wear. No mushroom look, no fiddly dials. Just clean design, smart technology and a fit that feels made for your head. Our helmets already turn heads on the street. Now we need someone who makes them turn heads online.

You'll take on a big part of our socials and content: Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, from first idea to final post. You shoot it, edit it, post it and find out what worked. Then you do it again, only better.

What you'll be doing

  • Content creation: shooting photo and video of our helmets where they belong. On the bike, in the city and on real heads.
  • Editing: turning raw footage into reels, TikToks and stories people don't scroll past.
  • Content planning: building and running our content calendar, from product drops to everyday posts.
  • Community: replying to comments, reposting our riders and keeping the conversation going in our tone of voice.
  • Creators & collabs: finding creators and partners who fit the brand and setting up collaborations with them.
  • Trends: knowing what's happening on TikTok and Instagram and which trends are worth jumping on (and which aren't).
  • Social creatives: designing visuals in Canva or Figma for organic posts and paid social.
  • Events & shoots: capturing content at events, rides and photo shoots.
  • Analysis: checking what performs and why, so next week's content beats this week's.

In short: you're the reason people stop scrolling. You'll see your work out in the world, sometimes within the hour.

What we're looking for

  • You're studying marketing, communications, media, creative business or something similar
  • You're available for at least 5 months
  • You know why a TikTok works and you can explain it
  • You can shoot and edit video (CapCut, Premiere, whatever gets it done)
  • You write captions that are short, sharp and sound like a human wrote them
  • You're curious, self-driven and not afraid to make mistakes (or fix them)
  • You have an interest in design, sustainability and innovation
  • Bonus: experience with Canva or Figma, photography, social ads or an account we can scroll through
  • Available 4 to 5 days a week

What you'll get

  • A portfolio full of live, published work
  • Plenty of room for your own ideas (if it's good, it goes live)
  • An award-winning product that looks good on camera, brake light included
  • Insight into branding, campaigns, creator collaborations and product launches
  • A startup with pace and ambition
